Industry and NASA representatives have offered their insights into the importance of ACTS and the government-industry-academic collaboration that was so important to its development. The following remarks were made at the ACTS Conference 2000, held in Cleveland together with the Sixth Ka Band Utilization Conference. The occasion of this conference was the termination of the ACTS experiment program under NASA sponsorship.
